From February 2 to 6, 2026, the Mini Residency in Dental Implantology and Prosthodontics was held in Manassas, VA, hosted by the International Implant Institute. The program aimed to provide clinicians with practical training in implant dentistry through lectures and hands-on exercises. The course was led by Dr. Julia Jackson, Dr. Uvoh Onoriobe, and Dr. Ibrahim Haron, covering key topics including sinus procedures, GBR, extraction, and suturing techniques. The training combined theoretical sessions with supervised hands-on practice, focusing on implant placement protocols, treatment planning, and restorative workflows. During the hands-on sessions, participants practiced osteotomy preparation, implant placement, and soft tissue management using training models. The Stop Drill Kit was introduced as the main product, allowing clinicians to experience controlled drilling and improved safety during site preparation. With a small group of six participants, the program encouraged interactive discussions and individualized instruction. Attendees appreciated the practical guidance and clinical applicability of the training, while the Stop Drill Kit received strong interest for its intuitive design and effectiveness in depth control.
