Heo's Story

“Always Evolving!
My life has been a series of challenges. As a dentist, I have spent many nights developing products to solve various clinical problems while practicing for 30 years, and I have constantly sought to change and innovate. My efforts to provide comfortable and safe treatment for both patients and doctors will continue.
Possibility of AnyTime Loading
AnyTime Loading evolved from Immediate Loading, a concept that has been studied for decades. Dr. Young-ku Heo has dedicated over 30 years of clinical experience to developing and advancing the success of AnyTime Loading.
"For 30 years, I have been researching and developing various products for AnyTime Loading to support dentists in delivering optimal patient care. What is the key to successful implant surgery in determining the appropriate loading time?

Successful Immediate Loading
In 1998, Dr. Young-Ku Heo performed a full-arch clinical case, placing five implants in the lower jaw of an edentulous female patient. He utilized the Immediate Loading technique, in which a temporary prosthesis was placed just one week after implantation, followed by the final prosthesis after three months. Remarkably, after 20 years (in 2023), he confirmed that the implants remained perfectly stable, providing firsthand evidence of the durability and long-term success of Immediate Loading

Clinical result about Immediate loading
Dr. Young-Ku Heo's confidence in the potential of Immediate Loading was reinforced after attending Dr. Tarnow's lecture in 1995 and reviewing a five-year clinical study published in 1997, which demonstrated that its success rate was comparable to that of Delayed Loading.

CMI Fixation – Essential Criteria for AnyTime Loading
Dr. Young-Ku Heo emphasizes implant fixation strength as a key factor for the success of Immediate and Early Loading, both in single cases and full-arch implants, based on the CMI Fixation theory. Through various clinical cases, he has observed that achieving optimal initial fixation strength stabilizes the implant, preventing micromovement, minimizing bone loss, and promoting successful osseointegration.
CMI Fixation Theory
CMI Fixation is an implant placement concept developed by Dr. Young-Ku Heo, designed to achieve optimal initial fixation across various clinical conditions, including different residual bone heights and densities. This approach categorizes the implant into three zones—upper (C), middle (M), and lower (I). When fixation is secured in all three zones, regardless of bone conditions, it facilitates both Immediate Loading and AnyTime Loading.

Achieving 100% Success in implant Surgery & AnyTime Loading
What is AnyTime Loading?
AnyTime Loading is a unique concept developed by Dr. Young-Ku Heo. It aims to overcome the period of bone weakening (reduced stability) by enhancing the physical bond between thet implant and the bone during the osseointegration process. This approach ensures a 100% success rate in implant treatment by determining the optimal loading period for each case.
Advantages of AnyTime Loading
1. Excellent for aesthetically important anterior tooth loss
2. Applicable to edentulous patients such as All on X
3. One-day treatment possible for patients with limited time
Immediate Loading
Within 0~1 week
When to Avoid General Loading
Before Bone Remodeling
Early Loading
Within 6 to 8 weeks
Conventional Loading
After 8 weeks

Neo Implant that realized CMI Fixation
Neobiotech's CMI implant features a tapered body and a robust inverted triangle-shaped thread design at the apex, enabling excellent self-compaction during implant placement. In addition, the Macro Thread design on the upper part of the implant is engineered to obtain strong and stable initial fixation force, which can enhance primary stability together with CMI Fixation.
Why AnyTime Loading is Possible with CMI Implants
1. Primary Stability: Enhanced physical bonding with Old Bone through Magic Thread, Macro Thread, and Tapered body design, significantly improving primary stability.
2. Secondary Stability: S.L.A. surface treatment facilitates osseointegration, enabling direct biological bonding between newly formed bone and the implant surface, further enhancing  secondary stability.

“Realized AnyTime Loading
The ALX implant is an all-in-one system that integrates both the abutment and the implant. Dr. Young-Ku Heo has pioneered the next generation of implant technology with the introduction of YK Link, a revolutionary prosthetic solution that eliminates screw holes. This advanced implant system ensures a precise passive fit through enhanced implant and prosthesis strength, minimizes bone loss, enables successful outcomes with minimal incisions, and supports AnyTime Loading.
GBR is not required for receding alveolar bone.
